‘Pokemon GO' News & Update: Niantic Revises Nearby Tracker; Expands to New Regions While Limiting the Rural Areas

Niantic is again setting its foot on the Nearby Tracker of the "Pokemon GO" game. Recently, news about the feature came to light when it was again tested in the San Francisco area. The official Facebook page of the "Pokemon GO" made the announcement, advising Trainers to take advantage of the test as it now expands to several regions.

The announcement also suggested; few changes were made in terms of the "Pokemon GO" Nearby Tracker functions. Despite the change in functions not being detailed, the functions of the Nearby Tracker are affected when Nearby Pokemons are very few. Although the changes are sparse and unclear at the moment, Niantic is looking closely on the changes saying, they will adapt future changes as deem necessary by the test.

In their Facebook Official Post, it said "To provide a better experience when searching for Pokémon in the real world, we have also made some changes to the way the Nearby Pokémon feature functions when there are only a few PokéStops in range.

Currently, the "Pokemon GO" Nearby Tracker can be accessed by almost all game users. Smaller countries are seen to be affected by the absence f the tracker, but the game developer said they are working on it. Despite the changes, users are unable to see the big and game changing features of the tracker. According to the Attack of the Fanboy, some fans say, nothing can be compared to the original Nearby Tracker when the "Pokemon GO" was launched. Fortunately, these new changes are now available on the iOS and the Android platforms. All you need to do is update the game on your phone and you're set to go.
