iOS News & Update: How To Cross Over Music, Photos, Contacts To Android Offline?

iOS users have reportedly been let down with the recent release of the iPhone 7. Moreover, several issues like unexpected shut downs have also plagued the other iPhones. Hence, iOS users are expected to cross over to other Android alternatives in hopes of a better experience.

Apple reportedly published an app on Google Play to automate the entire process of migrating from Android to iOS. However, when it comes to moving away from iOS to Android, iOS users are reportedly in the dark. Hence, it should be noted that the primary requirement would be a Google account.

Note that a Gmail, YouTube login or a Google Plus may connect to Google in some way. Furthermore, when it comes to transferring media like photos and music from the iOS phone to the Android phone, a couple of apps may be required. For photos, the Google Photos iOS app may be used. In terms of music, the Google Music Manager for macOS or Windows reportedly does the work, TechRepublic reported.

iOS users may reportedly find Google Drive as similar to the iCloud. By signing into the Google account, uploading, backing up and syncing photos, the process may be accomplished. Furthermore, upload songs via the Google Music Manager and choose the location of the music files like in iTunes. For contacts stored in iCloud, Select All in the Options Menu then Export vCard. Over at Gmail, Import Contacts may be clicked from the file saved from exporting in iCloud.

In other news, latest reports reveal that iOS users may read offline when transferring to Android. Apparently, Chrome for Android added a new feature. Currently, the platform allows downloading web pages to be read when the user is offline, according to report.

iOS transitioners may find Version 55 of Chrome in the Google Play Store. Note that this platform may expand browser's downloading functionality. Furthermore, videos and music may also be played offline once downloaded. Other whole web pages may also be saved for offline use. In addition, a new section may also enable sharing these downloads with other users. Watch how to Switch from iOS to Android here:
