With only a few days before "Rogue One: A Start Wars Story" hits the international screens, fans couldn't be more excited to hit the theaters. Fans are already buzzing around with excitement as the as the cast of the next film of the Star Wars universe visited "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Dec. 9.
Just one day before the official world premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in Los Angeles, the cast and crew of the latest Star Wars film took to "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for a special episode. Those in attendance were Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso), Diego Luna (Captain Cassian Andor), Ben Mendelsohn (Director Orson Krennic), Donnie Yen (Chirrut Îmwe), Riz Ahmed (Bodhi Rook), director Gareth Edwards, and more.
ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" treated viewers to an out of this universe special featuring a clip of the film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The "Rogue One" cast and director Gareth Edwards were on the special late-night chat show talking about the movie just one day before its official world premiere.
The whole crew confirmed Darth Vader's return in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." "It was kind of inevitable. It's connected to the original!" Gareth admitted. They also shared two never-before-seen clips from a movie full of movement and suspense.
In one clip of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), and droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) were trying to fly a spacecraft through a rocky canyon. The droid is doing his best C-3PO by giving them the odds of failure. It was not revealed what the odds were but K-2SO seems a bit more willing than C-3PO to drop the subject when it's raised.
"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will take us back before the events of "A New Hope" telling the story of a group of Rebel spies on a mission to take down the Death Star. Catch it as it hits the theaters in the U.S. on Dec. 16.
