"Tom Clancy's The Division" released details about the highly-anticipated next patch in its State of The Game announcement. The 1.6 patch will cover details about Play vs Player (PvP) options and Dark Zone gameplay.
'Tom Clancy's The Division' 1.6 Update
On Thursday, Ubisoft Massive discussed the next steps for "Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.5 update for 2017. Speaking to community developer Hamish Bode, Massive's Yannick Banchereau spoke great things to look forward to in the 1.6 patch, which will greatly focus on PvP and the Dark Zone gameplay according to VG247.
Ubisoft Massive is will be launching a second Elite Task Force to test out "Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.6 patch, which will be hosted at Red Storm in North Carolina from January 11 to 13. More so, the studio promised to go over the issues that happened last Thursday. There were reports that players were unable to collect rewards for completing all side missions in a zone.
'Tom Clancy's The Division' Patch Release Next Week
Meanwhile, Ubisoft Massive will roll out an another update for "Tom Clancy's The Division" next week. The patch will include fixes for issues encountered on PC such as the Larae Barrett encounter. Players reported a balcony bug and the loss of certain bonuses along with Barrett's chest piece drop.
The studio also promised to lower performance impact with high CPU usage and promise to address controllers' issues. A bevy of other issues will also be addressed with the fix rolled out next week.
More importantly, though, "Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.6 update will activate DirectX 12, which will resolve performance issues when graphics are set to a higher resolution. More so, the patch will also address healing delay issue and Banchereau asked for players' feedback if the issue persists.
Ubisoft Massive hasn't released the exact dates for the "Tom Clancy's The Division" updates. Keep watch as the next update will be released anytime next week.
