Fans of “Switched at Birth” Season 5 will just have to wait a little longer as it was already announced that the new season is set to return on January 31. Promo photos show Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) enjoying their stay in China. Bey worked as a tattoo artist while Daphne worked in a doctor’s clinic. They even got matching tattoos to celebrate the independent lives they had far away from home.
Emergency Caller Revealed
"Switched at Birth" Season 5 will begin with an emergency call which will bring back the girls to Kansas. The mysterious call is expected to be revealed in the premiere episode. Speculations say that the caller might be Kathryn (Lea Thompson), who has something to tell them about their father John (D.W. Moffett). The speculations even go on further to say that Kathryn and John are getting a divorce. Some say, however, that John’s health is failing and may in fact die soon.
Back in Kansas
In the promo for “Switched at Birth” Season 5, both Daphne and Bay appear saying that they wish they were not made to go home. Whatever the reason is, what they will find waiting for them upon their return home will certainly not be pleasant at all.
Meanwhile, fans are interested to find out if Bay will continue her career as a tattoo artist in Kansas in “Switched at Birth” Season 5. Her parents will surely be horrified if she asks them for money to open a tattoo shop. It has always been her dream to open one and it might be hard for her to see it completely cut short.
Travis or Emmett for Bey
Bay’s lovelife will also be interesting according to “Switched at Birth” Season 5 spoilers. Last season, Travis (Ryan Lane) professed his love for her. Also, even as she broke up with Emmett (Sean Berdy) after he betrayed her, there are hints that he will return in the new season to try to win her back. Fans continue to speculate on who might be the mystery man in Bay’s life, but until the new season premiere, everybody will have to wait to find out.
