"Clash-A-Rama," an original comedy series based on the characters of the Supercell games recently launched on YouTube. Elements from both "Clash of Clans" and "Clash Royale" were showcased in the first two episodes, titled "University of Goblin" and "Giant vs. Giant Problem."
Comedy Structure of 'Clash-A-Rama'
Touch Arcade stated that "Clash-A-Rama" seems to be targeting new audiences, particularly those who are not huge fans of the two games. However, players of both "Clash of Clans" and "Clash Royale" will find various references from the mobile games such as spells and the characters.
"Clash-A-Rama" is expected to gain more ground as more episodes are released. Between the first two episodes, the second was deemed by some as better.
The humor in "Clash-A-Rama" also included references to the games, although the output was still quite hazy. The characters in "Clash-A-Rama" may be as disposable as those in the games, resulting to the sketch comedy structure, which is apparently based on the strength of the sketches.
Future episodes of "Clash-A-Rama" are expected to get more interesting as the makers improve the quality and structure. The stories may also begin to tie in as more episodes are rolled out.
'Clash-A-Rama' First Two Episodes
Droid Gamers reported that "Clash-A-Rama" originated from the creator of "The Simpsons" and "Futurama." Each episode lasts about 10 minutes and is supposed to bring viewers within the Arena and Village to delve closer into the lives of the troops between battles.
The episodes showed the story of the Giant who attacked a Wall instead of the Town Hall, which was a more vital structure. "Clash-A-Rama" also looked into how someone can steal a Loot Cart for themselves in the Village or how a Wall Breaker can fall in love with a Villager. The bomb may get jealous and cause the lovers to part ways.
The first two "Clash-A-Rama" episodes provided a decent introduction into the world of both games. More troops and heroes may appear in future episodes, attending to other activities other than wars. "Clash-A-Rama" is currently available on YouTube, Facebook and Google Play. More updates and details are expected soon.
