The rivalry of reigning RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks and Charlotte will finally come to a head, when the two trail-blazing superstars duke it out in a 30-minute Iron Match at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line on Dec. 18 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
With their championship series leveled at 3-3, both Banks and Charlotte are aware that there will be tomorrow after Roadblock, because it will be the match to end their rivalry for the time being.
Bleacher Report writer Eric Beaston calls Banks-Charlotte rivalry the top feud of the year entering the final WWE PPV of 2016.
According to B/R writer Beaston:
"When Sasha Banks and Charlotte take to the squared circle for their 30-minute Iron Man match at Roadblock: End of the Line, they will culminate the most intensely personal and lengthy rivalry of 2016.
Their war is also the year's best, a competitive rivalry over the top prize in their division and a reminder that old-school stories work for any gender and in any generation.
It is a rivalry that has encapsulated pro wrestling since January and has fans anxiously anticipating matches between the two, a rarity in WWE since the days of Trish Stratus and Lita's legendary feud."
While Sasha Banks risks of losing her precious WWE RAW women's championship, Charlotte will be putting something huge at stake. Ric Flair's daughter has been undefeated in pay-per-view events, besting Banks at SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell.
On the other hand, Banks is coming off a gutsy win in an anywhere falls match on RAW two weeks ago. Moreover, aside from participating in the very first Hell in a Cell match, Banks previously participated in a 30-minute iron match with Bayley at NXT Takeover: Respect last year.
