NBA Trade Rumors: Paul George And Monta Ellis For DeMarcus Cousins And Rudy Gay

NBA Trade Rumors: Paul George And Monta Ellis For DeMarcus Cousins And Rudy Gay

It looks like another NBA trade rumor is spreading as the February trade deadline is less than two months now. Reports are indicating that a rumored deal between the superstars of Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings will trade places; namely, Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins.

DeMarcus Cousins has been in trade rumors for the past few seasons as his volatile behavior does more damage to the team as compared to benefits of his superb skills. DeMarcus Cousins has also voiced his concerns about his dissatisfaction with the Sacramento Kings as DeMarcus Cousins has never played in the playoffs throughout his whole career. Many believe that the Sacramento Kings can get a superstar in exchange for DeMarcus Cousins for fear of DeMarcus Cousins leaving the Sacramento Kings when his contract ends in 2018.

Paul George is also a favorite among the rumor mill as he has been linked to several deals for the past few weeks. The 26-year-old do it all forward has a lot of upside but the Indiana Pacer are willing to trade Paul George for another superstar or draft picks.

Since both teams are struggling with their current lineup, trade rumors have started. And according to a report, a deal might happen before the trade deadline.

In the reported deal, the Sacramento Kings will receive Paul George and Monta Ellis while The Indiana Pacers will receive DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay in exchange. The deal is actually fair to both side and will benefit them.

The Sacramento Kings finally get rid of headcase DeMarcus Cousins in exchange for a stud in Paul George. The Kings get a superstar in Paul George just in time DeMarcus Cousins's contract ends to which most believe he will not renew. The Sacramento Kings also get Monta Ellis who will be the starting point guard the solely need.

Meanwhile the Indiana Pacers with DeMarcus Cousins and Myles Turner  will now have the most imposing and physical front court the league has ever seen. The Pacers will be the new and improved version of the Memphis Grizzlies with Marc Gasol and a young Zach Randolph. In today's NBA where a good center is a rarity, 2 in one team is almost unheard of. Playing both DeMarcus Cousins and Myles Turner will work because both can hit the inside and outside shots. Rudy will take the place of Paul George's starting Small Forward position. If CJ miles moves to the 3 and Rudy Gay moves to Shooting Guard, then the Indiana Pacers will have a tall and athletic starting five of Teague, Gay, Miles, Cousins and Turner.

If the trade does happen expect the league to fear both teams. Stay tuned for more updates on the NBA.
