The fact LG did a risky feature in the LG G5, sporting modules for the handheld that none of the market has known for until now. So far, news of the unique feature is said to be scrape for the LG G6, instead the upcoming LG variant will be presented with an all-glass cover and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Upcoming LG G6 Features & Specs
The LG G5 module feature that allows users to add accessories such as removable battery and camera attachment will not be back for the LG G6 and instead, will be replaced with a uni-body design. David Ruddick, who is a writer for the Android Police posted on social media that LG G6 will not feature a removable battery and will feature an all-glass design for the LG G6.
The tweet from Ruddick also confirms that LG G6 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and will commit to keep the trusted feature. With Apple and Samsung are currently removing the headphone jack from its flagships, it seems that LG G6 is still dependent on the said feature.
However, David Ruddick posted another tweet, correcting the writer's previous post and stating that LG G6 will not have an all-glass design, instead LG G6 will feature a highly reflective metal cover on the back. Without mentioning the modules feature will be back for the LG G6, it can mean a risky business for a module feature to be included for the LG G6 if the company is going for the uni-body design.
With LG G6 having a unibody design, the company will make up for it by including wireless charging feature along with the LG Pay to authorize mobile transactions. The upcoming LG G6 will also be waterproof and dustproof, just like other smartphones in the market right now.
LG will most likely reveal LG G6 in the Mobile World Congress 2017 on February 27 along with other smartphones. Stay tuned to Gamenguide for more LG G6 news and updates.
