Taylor Swift surprises fan with a new song with the unlikely collaboration with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik for the soundtrack of the upcoming sequel of "Fifty Shades of Grey", "Fifty Shades Darker". This is the first song Taylor Swift has released since her very successful and Grammy Album of the year "1989" album back in October 2014.
The Taylor Swift- Zayn Malik song is included in the "Fifty Shades Darker" soundtrack and is entitled "I Don't Wanna Live Forever." The song is a moody, R&B-tinged track according to New York Time and was deployed and was available for download and streaming services except Spotify. Swift has since taken a stand against Spotify and pulled out her songs from the steaming app.
The "Fifty Shade Darker" song was written by Taylor Swift herself and other song writer like Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff who were also producers of the "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" song. Taylor Swift's squad members also gave their support to the new song via twitter including Zayn Malik's girlfriend Gigi Hadid and Lena Dunham according to E News.
Just a few hours since its release, the Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik duet is now the number one song in iTunes which the "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" singer posted a screenshot on Instagram. Zany Malik also posted a picture of him holding one to Taylor's cat with the caption "#idontwannaliveforever" to help spread out the new song form the "Fifty Shade Darker" film.
"I Don't Wanna Live Forever" by Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik will be part of the American erotic romantic drama "Fifty Shade Darker" which is based on the book written by E.L. James. The sequel stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, Jamie Doran as Christian Grey will be directed by James Foley and will be released February 2017 in theaters around the world.
