About a week before Christmas day, One Race Films will unleash the first trailer for "Fast and Furious 8." Fans are looking forward to the teaser while others are still worried about how the film will fare following Paul Walker's untimely death.
"Fast and Furious 8" comes with new faces, new characters, and a brand new story. Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner will no longer be in the franchise. The actor passed away in a tragic car crash in November 2013. Since then, some fans have been wondering how his character's absence in the film will affect the eighth installment.
In the seventh installment of the hit franchise, Paul Walker had to be replaced by his brother, Cody. The actor wasn't able to complete filming but with the help of CGI and Cody, the movie was a success. However, it appears that "Fast and Furious 8" will no longer use such tactics.
Recent reports indicate that Brian O'Conner's absence in "Fast and Furious 8" may somehow affect the appeal of the franchise among fans. Paul Walker is one of the most loved characters in the franchise. It has yet to be seen how his loyal fans will accept "FF8," considering that he won't be featured in the film.
On the other hand, hopes for an amazing "Fast and Furious 8" story are high. Many other fans believe that Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner was given a reasonable end. In the previous movie, his story ended with the decision to focus on his family. Some moviegoers suggest that it's time to move on from the actor's loss.
Meanwhile, the franchise recently revealed on Twitter that a new "Fast and Furious 8" trailer will debut on December 11. The post says fans should head over to the "Fast and Furious" official Facebook page to see the teaser first.
An introductory clip is also included in the post for the new "Fast and Furious 8" trailer. In the clip, Charlize Theron's villain is given some airtime, including numerous explosions and messages from Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and other core characters.
"Fast and Furious 8" is slated to hit theaters on April 14, 2017. Stay tuned for more news!
