Fans of “Suits” Season 6 were shocked when the firm’s co-founder Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) announced that she will leave Pearson Specter Litt in its midseason finale. Reports say that filming for the second half of the season has officially wrapped up, but there are no details about where the the firm, and its lawyers, go from there.
Happy in their love lives
Besides the shocking announcement from Jessica, the midseason finale of “Suits” Season 6 showed the main characters of the show seem to be happy with their respective partners. Jessica’s reason for leaving was so she could join her boyfriend Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside) in Chicago. Meanwhile, Louis Litt’s (Rick Hoffman) proposal was accepted by Tara Messer (Carly Pope). This probably means that viewers should expect a wedding in the second half of the season, which is expected to air on January 25.
Hope for Harvey and Donna
The most welcome development in the “Suits” Season 6 midseason finale, however, happened in the relationship of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty). Jessica just made her announcement and Harvey asked Donna to stay with him as he processed what just happened. He contemplated on the inevitable changes that are about to happen to their firm and, as they both looked over the horizon, they held hands. Is this a signal to better things happening in their relationship?
Meghan Markle and the Prince
When the cast and crew wrapped up filming for the rest of “Suits” Season 6 episodes in la November, actress Meghan Markle shared several behind-the-scenes photos to celebrate it. Markle will also now have the time for her real-life romance with Prince Harry now that she’s done with filming for the series.
For his part, Harry has shown just this week how committed he is to his relationship with the “Suits” Season 6 actress. People Magazine reports that he made a major detour from the Caribbean to see her in Canada instead of going straight back to London. He was coming from a seven-nation tour in the Caribbean on behalf of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. The new couple was apart for two weeks.
