'Arrow' season 5 has officially started its winter hiatus after airing its midseason finale episode 9. As usual, the action crime television series closed with a cliffhanger, causing some of its fans to be confused and curious with what will happen next. Episode 9 also showed the resurrection of Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy).
As fans may recall, Laurel was killed off in "Arrow" season 4 by Damien Dahrk (Neal McDonough). That's why it's a real mystery why she is alive again. Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen, teased some spoilers through a Facebook Live video. Unfortunately, he did not divulge much but he did mention about Laurel's return from the grave.
"Is Laurel really alive?" Amell asked. "Obviously, people don't just come back from the dead, so there has to be some sort of vetting process to make sure it actually is Laurel because the group has seen some peculiar things," the 35-year old actor added. He then just wrapped up things by telling fans to stay tuned for "Arrow" season 5 episode 10 which is set to air next year.
Aside from the resurrection, Amell also teased something else about the "Arrow" season 5 episode 10. He said that there will be a road trip that's going to happen in search for a certain woman. Reports said that the team will be looking for Prometheus' mother as she could be the key to the villain's identity.
Now, aside from Laurel, spoilers reveal that "Arrow" season 5 episode 10 will also show the arrival of a recurring character. As detailed in Comic Book, Talia Al Ghul (Lexa Doig), daughter of Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) and half-sister of Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law). She is described as an elite warrior who may have something to do with Laurel's resurrection.
Nothing has been confirmed yet but "Arrow" season 5 episode 10 will premiere on Jan. 25, 2017 on CW. So fans should stay tuned for that.
