After years of waiting, the time has finally come to release "Attack On Titan" season 2 to the public. It has been four years since one of the highly successful anime debuted its first season back in 2013, and now fans of "Attack On Titans" can now rest easy as writer/creator announced publicly that the anime will return for its sequel in April 2017.
'Attack On Titans' Season 2 Premieres On April 2017
The announcement came from a Japanese publisher and confirmed that "Attack On Titans" season 2 will debut on April with the manga's 21st volume on hand. The "Attack On Titan" season 2 debut also collaborates with Crunchyroll and Funimation, which will simultaneously air the anime, just like the two production teams did on the first season of the anime.
The critically acclaimed "Attack On Titan" anime was supposedly meant to comeback sooner than expected, but it was purposely delayed to give the creators more time to finish the manga and catch up with the series. Masashi Koizuka will be the director of "Attack On Titan" season 2 with Tetsuro Araki as chief director.
There are rumors that "Attack On Titan" season 2 will air first in Japan on March 2017 and scripts for the anime are already done. However, other reports says otherwise that Japanese television shows typically premiere on April, which is now the case.
"Attack On Titan" season 1 spanned over a total of 25 episodes that covered up April 2013 until September 2013 that made the franchise a successful anime in present times. Over the past years, "Attack of the Titan" also has a live-action movie and two animated movies that came into the cinemas.
