It looks like “The 100” Season 4 will be giving the fans something big that will tide them over until its premiere. Very soon, they will be having their first look at Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the rest of the survivors according to EP Aaron Ginsburg himself. He announced on Twitter that they are putting together an incredible trailer and it is closed to being finished.
Ginsburg told the fans that they should be prepared for the trailer of the hit post-apocalyptic series. Production for “The 100” Season 4 is still underway but it appears that Ginsburg is focusing at the moment on the trailer which, based on his pronouncements, will be big. He also previously teased in the past that the new season will have the most twisted and brutal episode in the show’s history.
According to reports, "The 100" Season 4 will follow Clarke and her people’s attempt to solve a nuclear crisis that will make Earth uninhabitable. This is the final trick left behind by ALIE (Erica Cerra) before she perished last season. The evil AI made sure that she is leaving the world to be as or even more dangerous as when she was alive. The potential nuclear holocaust will divide the surviving people on how to best approach it.
Earlier “The 100” Season 4 spoilers indicated that some of them will deem their situation hopeless and will try to make the best out of their remaining days alive. Others believe that there is a way to save the planet and the people. The series creator, Jason Rothenberg, had said that now that the Earth itself is the enemy and an unbeatable one at that, will make the new season more about Clarke’s people’s survival than their attempt at stopping it.
Because it is no longer possible to defeat the enemy, the focus now on “The 100” Season 4 is how to survive it. Rothenberg added, “There aren't enough lifeboats, so who gets to choose who lives?"
