There have been a lot of major announcements and updates of "Pokemon Go" over the past few days including some major partnerships with Starbucks and Sprint. The Pokemon Company just announced via tweet that there will be more Pokemon that will be added in "Pokemon Go".
However, "Pokemon Go" players will have to wait until Dec. 12, Monday before we know additional information and details in what to expect. WWG reported that the "new Pokemon" announced are the first 100 Pokemon in the Pokemon Silver and Gold game which are mainly from the Johto Region.
Johto Region's starter Pokemon Cyndaquil, Totodile and Chikorita together with Dunsparce, Wooper and Pichu might be coming to "Pokemon Go" soon. The Silph Road dataminers discovered that new 100 Pokemons are coming to the game that will possibly be released on Monday.
There were also evidences that Pokemon Go will be releasing the very rare "Shiny" Pokemon to the game which are Pokemon with alternate color. The "Shiny" Pokemon database also revealed some graphic textures with a special sound effect when a shiny is caught, which confirms that they will be included in the upcoming "Pokemon Go" update.
Pokemon Go just announced its partnership with the telecommunications company, Sprint where the CEO Marcelo Claure calls the Pokemon Go updates as the "second generation of the game". Over 10,500 Sprint locations in the United States will become PokeStops and Poke Gyms. These include Boost Mobile and Sprint at Radioshack stores, according to "Pokemon Go" official announcement on their blog.
"Sprint locations will also feature in-store charging stations to keep your Pokémon GO sessions going even longer. Sprint also brings a great network and an unlimited data plan to support your search for Pokémon no matter where they are hiding," the Pokemon Go team continued. Pokemon Go players will have to wait in what's in store for them in The Pokemon Company's announcement this coming Monday.
