'Pokemon Go' News & Update: Starbucks Employee Hints 'Pokemon Go' to Release 100 New Pokemons

''Pokemon Go' news and update suggest Niantic will release more pokemons. This is according to reports that a Starbucks employee divulged the information.

The news came from a leaked Starbucks employee manual. It reveals the brand new creatures and partnerships for Niantic's AR game, according to Endgadget. In the "Barista need-to-know" guide, as part of "Pokémon Go" expansion, there will be new pokemon and a new Starbucks beverage. Apparently 100 new pokemons are coming to the game.

The "Barista need-to-know" guide appears to be a flyer that indicates "Pokémon Go's" second generation will be launched on Thursday, Dec. 8. Back in November, some curious fans have plunged into "Pokemon Go's" data. They found references to 100 creatures from Pokémon Gold and Silver.

Aside from that, they discovered a code for the shapeshifting Pokémon, which is Ditto that has been launched recently. Back to the employee guide, it also shows a new corporate partnership between "Pokémon Go" and Starbucks.

The said flyers reveal that the majority of Starbucks stores across the United States will become PokéStops or Gyms. As part of the partnership with Niantic, the coffee shop offers a new Pokémon Go-branded Frappuccino, which is a Vanilla Bean Frap with raspberry syrup and whole, freeze-dried blackberries. What makes it look like "Pokemon Go" inspired frappe is it has an icon in "Pokémon Go" on the cup.

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, game developer Niantic announced that 10,500 Sprint stores in the US will become PokeStops and gyms, Forbes reports. On Monday, Dec 12, Niantic is set to announce details "about the addition of more Pokémon to Pokémon GO, one of the most popular mobile games of the year."
