A trade rumor is about to shake the NBA and shift the balance of power as Dwyane Wade is said to be contemplating about reuniting with his former teammate in Lebron James. The said rumor would have Dwyane Wade join Lebron James in Cleaveland next year and try to recapture their glory days in Miami.
Since joining forces in Miami, Lebron James and Dwyane Wade developed a close friendship even after Lebron left for Cleaveland after 4 years. It was believed the Dwyane Wade was the one responsible for recruiting Lebron and Chris Bosh to Miami. The duo had a successful run with 4 straight finals appearances and won 2 titles back to back.
But after their embarrassing loss to the San Antonio Spurs in 2014, Lebron James decided to return to Cleveland and and fulfill his promise of bringing a title back to his hometown. And in his second season from returning, Lebron finally fulfilled his destiny and won the NBA title. He did it by defeating the record setting Golden State Warriors, in a 3-1 deficit marking one the best comeback in NBA finals history. But now rumors are swirling that Dwyane Wade wants to join Cleveland and bring in more titles.
According to ChattSportsNet, this time Lebron will be the one doing the recruiting and bring Dwyane Wade to Cleveland. Lebron James has said that he was open to teaming up with his friends, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony in one team before they retire. Dwyane Wade moving to Cleaveland might be the start of the formation of that super team.
One possible scenario for Dwyane Wade involves Cleveland upgrading their roster after this season. Both Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are expected to return to the finals for the third straight time with each winning a title over the other. In the offseason, the Warriors won the free agent sweepstakes and signed Kevin Durant to improve their roster. Cleaveland meanwhile virtually has the same roster from last season with the exception of Dellavedova leaving for Milwaukee. If Warriors beat the Cavaliers in this season's finals, expect them to make an upgrade in the shooting guard position in a bid to upstage their rivals the Warriors in the 2017 season.
If Dwyane Wade does end up in Cleaveland, either JR Smith, Tristan Thompson or Kevin Love to leave for Cleaveland to be able to afford Dwyane Wade's contract. Super teams are now a trend in the NBA and expect Cleveland to up the ante if they lose to the Warriors in the Finals.
