Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date, Latest News & Update: Show Must Go On For Next Phablet, Savior Coming In August 2017?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploding battery issue is still fresh in the minds of many and the Korean company is trying to find ways to get over it. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will try to do that in early 2017, signaling a whole new start for the embattled charges of Samsung.

Previously, it was believed that Samsung will ramp up the offerings by including a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Being rumors, that seemed a bit farfetched. The stigma of the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 still hot and the best thing that Samsung can do right now is let the issue die down, even just a bit.

Hence, it seems only logical that Samsung will try again with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. A logical date of release would be August 2017, practically the same time that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 debuted. If so, that would be eight months from now, hopefully enough to divert the attention of consumers as Samsung tries to start anew.

Samsung knows it needs to make up big time with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the grapevine has been filled with dream features, Trusted Reviews reported. At the top of the list is an explanation on the cause of explosions which were blamed on the overstuffed design of the fallen phablet.

Manufacturing technology firm Instrumental took the liberty of getting down to the possible reason behind the exploding battery problem of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It turns out that Samsung overdid it as far as design for the said phablet.

The battery, termed as a jelly-roll, was compromised and unable to serve out the needed power that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 required. Samsung has yet to comment on the findings though it could be a good lead on what ‘not to do’ with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

It may be a long road to redemption for the Galaxy Note series but Samsung needs to start somewhere. The Samsung Galaxy S8 kicks all that off by the time the Mobile World Congress 2017 kicks off, hopefully overshadowing the battery-exploding mess out in the open.
