Back in 2014, "The Elder Scrolls Online" debuted on PC and OS X, followed by a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release a year later. The Bethesda Softworks massively multiplayer online RPG was met with mostly positive reviews, and the latest news surrounding it is that a new free housing DLC will be available February 2017.
The news comes via VG24/7, which reports that the "Homestead" free housing DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online" will be available beginning February 2017. It will come absolutely cost-free, and will feature thousands of customizable options. In fact, there are more than 2,000 furniture items and decorations for gamers to renovate their TESO home base.
The "Homestead" free housing DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online" will also feature a tutorial quest, which enables gamers to obtain a home space in an inn. Gamers can then select a basic home from a collection of dwellings, all based on 10 playable races of "The Elder Scrolls." For those who have a flair for design, you can select an unfurnished home to start decorating.
Gamers who are looking forward to the "Homestead" free housing DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online" should know that they can select from any home style no matter what their race or affiliation is. There is one restriction, however. Imperial homes are only available to those who have the Imperial Edition of the game.
What's even more fun, is that gamers who would download the "Homestead" free housing DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online" will also be able to purchase as many homes as they can. It all depends on how much in-game gold or Crowns you have, as you'll use this to purchase the homes with thousands of customizable options.
According to IGN, gamers can select from cozy treehouses to charming villas and sprawling mansions in the "Homestead" free housing DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online" arriving February 2017. While waiting for it to arrive, check out the video below and get a glimpse of what's to come.
