After the emotional “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” finish, fans were left wondering who will be the only man in Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) life. After that emotional roller coaster, fans know that Rory needs to end up with Jess (Milo Ventimiglia).
They have known each other for a long time, back to the time when Jess was a teenager rebel they used to date but it seems like their emotions haven’t changed much since then. According to US Magazine, in “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life,” Rory finds herself in a different territory. She is not really the girl she used to be. Her dreams didn’t really come true, she is 32-years-old, jobless and back in Stars Hollow.
As for the boys, she is still seeing her college love Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry) nearly after a decade after his marriage proposal. Some fans believed, in the end, Logan will leave his fiancée and end up with Rory, while some of them said she will end up with Jess (Milo Ventimiglia). Well, neither of them are right, yet.
According to Glamour, there is one good theory that Rory will end up having a marriage like her grandparent’s. Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) met when they were students at Yale, Richard had plans to marry his family-approved girlfriend Pennilyn Lott when he broke things off to be with Emily.
This story is very close to Rory and Logan’s, they also met while they were in college at Yale and in “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life,” Logan is engaged to Odette. However, he is having an affair with Rory which led the viewers to believe he will leave Odette and marry Rory.
According to CNBC, in this season, the 32-year-old is nothing like you have seen until now. She is irresponsible both professionally and romantically. She made a lot of mistakes in her career, she spent unearthly amounts of time and money flying across the Atlantic ineptly putting together a book proposal about an absent-minded alcoholic, she agreed to work for free and fell asleep while talking to one source she was interviewing and then slept with another source.
These actions were very unprofessional and so not like Rory Gilmore. While there was team Jess, team Dean or team Logan, fans cheered for ‘Team Rory’, but it looks like after all Mitchum Huntzberger (Gregg Henry) was right, she didn’t have it in her.
