Fans of game developer Naughty Dog are in for a holiday treat as a new game is down the pipeline. "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be released next year, being a standalone downloadable content for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." With the excitement and hype just growing by the day, what is even more interesting is the fact that the main protagonists would be a very unlikely pair.
"Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" was announced during the PlayStation 2017 conference held last week. Naughty Dog had said that the expansion will be taking place in India, with the timeline being set right after "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." However, being a standalone downloadable content, the core game is not needed to play it.
Furthermore, the game developer is referring to "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" as a story expansion, not an in-game content. Naughty Dog also added that the gameplay of the DLC will be longer than that of "Last of Us: Left Behind," but will be shorter than the core game.
"Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be exploring a new story and will be coming with more parts. With the expansion's focus being on the new linear, the game will be more open than the original "Uncharted 4." The game will then explore the relationship between Nadine and Chloe, with the latter gaining more spotlight.
Naughty Dog had also stated that Chloe Frazer will be a lot different from Nathan Drakes, aside from their genders. "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will see Chloe being one of the most effective fighters, having an amazing and unique fighting style, coupled with an extensive move set.
However, "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be a lot more grounded to reality than "Uncharted 4." With this, fans might strive more for supernatural elements during the course of the story expansion. "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" will be released in 2017, with no exact release date yet.
