Because this is the second-last episode of the season the expectations were this season’s story will begin unravelling. Although this happened to some extent, the fans got more questions than they get answers to the old questions.
According to IGN Adria, in this season you saw South Park in desperation since its inhabitants lost all the hope for better tomorrow. First, you saw a detective giving a speech to unite the fellow citizens, but he just added panic when he asked them to rely on America’s dignity and rationality. Kyle tried to fix everything when he said he doesn’t know what happened with South Park’s residents.
Now the question arises if Parker and Stone subordinated the story so they could give this speech. Mr. Slave returned and made Garrison announce nuclear attack on Denmark when Kyle realized his father is in Denmark and made Garrison to stop the attack. Parker and Stone think that newly elected President of the USA Donald Trump will bring decisions based on his whims and ego. Gerald saw his mistakes and tried to apologize and ask for forgiveness from Denmark’s premier. Cartman became paranoid when Butters convinced him that Heidi will break up with him any moment.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Donald Trump’s character in the episode “Not Funny” needed to be insulted a few times before he flew off the handle and decided to bomb another country. Mr. Slave started insulting Gerald (Donald Trump’s character) which led him to decision to bomb Denmark.
According to The Guardian, there were two major national arcs: Mr. Garrison,in Trumpian form and with Caitlyn Jenner as vice-president has ascended to the highest office in the land assistant by an infestation of nostalgia-inducing Member Berries. The another one revolves around Denmark developing a software program (Troll Trace) that will result in everyone’s private internet history becoming public after a Danish icon killed himself after bein trolled by Kyle’s dad, Gerald Broflovski.
“South Park” season 20 episode 10 will be aired on December 7, 2016.
