But according to Movie News Guide, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" may be the last time that Johnny Depp will play the quirky captain of the Black Pearl.
It seems that Johnny Depp experienced the breakdown of his marriage, plus the domestic abuse rumors while filming "Pirates of the Caribbean 5." It was hard for the cast and crew to work with him due to his tantrums.
This was during the time that he was being accused of physically hurting his wife, Amber Heard, and his behavior clearly showed his frustration with his circumstances. In fact, rumors say there were days when he would late for shooting "Pirates of the Caribbean 5." The movie franchise might remind him too much of his divorce, so Depp might not be interested to shot another film in the franchise.
