We're still several months away from "Game of Thrones" season 7 but the Internet has been anything remotely related to the hit drama series. One of the new details regarding "Game of Thrones" season 7 comes from "Theon Greyjoy" actor Alfie Allen who reveals a few details as to where "Game of Thrones" season 7 will go.
In the Malta India Fan Convention, Alfie Allen gave his insights on how "Game of Thrones" season 7 will play out. He said that fans can expect the darkest season of "Game of Thrones" yet. He reveals that fans can expect "more of the same but better." He then revealed that season 7 will feature more dragons and more tortures.
Since Theon Greyjoy is the unfortunate posterboy for torture in the "Game of Thrones" there might be a chance "Game of Thrones" season 7 might have Theon on torture again. Euron Greyjoy is still after Theon and his sister Yara for defecting along with the majority of the Iron Fleet.
When asked of how Theon would feel when reunited with the Stark family if it happens on "Game of Thrones" season 7, Alfie Allen has expressed doubts how his character would deal with the situation. "You mean IF that happens. You gotta stop looking at the internet, guys! I would say, [Theon] would feel horrible. He'd feel awful. And he'd see it as a chance to redeem himself" said Alfie Allen.
Theon Greyjoy has had an interesting journey in the "Game of Thrones" series. He was once part of the proud Stark family albeit as an adopted son of then Winterfell king Ned Stark. But a return to his birthplace in the Iron Islands caused him to rebel against the Starks and even once successfully claiming Winterfell as his own and declaring himself King of the North. Everything went downhill for Theon after his brief take over of Winterfell as he was captured by Ramsey Bolton and was subjected to a series of tortures over the course of several episodes that culminated in genital mutilation. Theon was never the same afterwards as he was reduced to "Reek", Ramsey's servant who was barely a human. Sansa managed to to bring some semblance of human dignity to Theon and managed to escape Ramsey. "Game of Thrones" season 7 will continue Theon Greyjoy's journey to redemption.
In other news HBO released the first footage for "Game of Thrones" season 7. Although short, the new footage shows the new look for Jon, Sansa and Arya. "Game of Thrones" season 7 is expeted to premiere on summer 2017.
