Just to protect its precious iconic characters properties like Super Mario, Donkey Kong and Link, it will be teaming up with Universal Studios to bring people new theme park attractions.
According to Forbes, the whole plan is to attach Nintendo's popular iconic characters to Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood as well as Universal Orlando Resort. Accordingly, they wanted visitors to feel like inside their favorite game giving access to extraordinary gaming experience.
The Nintendo-themed game worlds will be available for the three Universal Studios theme parks globally, Business Insider reported. The said collaboration was planned long time ago, but the two companies weren't decided up until recently.
Furthermore, the official update was made last Tuesday morning and was announced in public press. Also, Nintendo and Universal Studios confirmed that there will be an "expansive, immersive and interactive" situation with Super Mario Bros. as the main attraction.
More so, the two companies claimed that they will be highly themed and authentic environments filled with multiple attractions like shops and restaurants. At the same time, Nintendo and Universal Studios said that sounds would be like the real-life versions of the Wii U game, the "NintendoLand."
Sources claimed that this step of Nintendo for preservation is a smart move most especially in Japan. It is because theme parks in Japan are very attractive to people and the Nintendo as well has marked every childhood.
Additionally, just like Disney, Universal Theme Park would be perceived and appreciated due to its iconic characters from Nintendo. With this step, the two companies believed that they will be bringing out the full fledged NintendoLand to its popularity.
Consequently, the exact date to when these iconic characters from Nintendo would appear in Universal theme parts is not yet announced. But the work on these attractions are well-underway and had been promised to have something for everyone and "Super Mario Bros." will be the main attraction.
"We are always amazed how Universal Studios theme park developers are bringing essence on our Nintendo games and iconic characters to life in the real world, said Shigeru Miyamoto, Miyamoto is the Nintendo creative director who foresee the best theme park for the people.
