MacBook Pro Release Date, News & Update: Where You Can Get Pre-Christmas Shipment? Not In Apple Store

MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is unlikely to arrive in time for the Holiday season. This was according to Apple's online store.

According to reports, the estimate time of shipping for the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar leans more to arriving after Christmas, which similarly applies to the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Meantime, the iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black variant is also believed to ship just under the wire. However, a better option would be to shop online for these Apple products for the Holidays.

It is also interesting to note that B&H is currently showing "in-stock" for the new 15-inch MacBook Pro in Space Gray and Silver in 512GB and 256GB models respectively. In fact, reports also suggest that the store is showing stock of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar in Space Gray in 512GB and in Silver for the 256GB models. As earlier announced by B&H, the orders placed today for the MacBook Pro products are estimated to arrive as early as Dec. 5, with an option for an expedited shipping.

Another option for those who want to have the MacBook Pro for the Holidays is to check the product availability for in-store pick-up at the nearest Apple Store, and it would be best to do it immediately. As earlier reported, the MacBook Pro products are once again the top most wanted gift items this year,  9to5mac reported.

Meanwhile, Apple has finally revamped the MacBook Pro, after having the same design for more than four years. However, this is not quite the notebook that some had reported to be waiting for. While the enhanced MBP in MacBook Pro comes in a series of improvements, such as a thinner and lighter design, faster SSDs, brighter screen, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor among others, some avid MacBook Pro fans are said to have to create some changes based on how they work.

The revamped MacBook Pro is reported to have no full-sized USB ports and SD card reader, which is expected to disappoint the "pros" that use capture devices to record several videos, photos and audio files, ENGADGET reported. Watch Apple MacBook Pro 13" (Touch Bar): Unboxing & Review
