'Injustice: Gods Among Us' for Microsoft Players

Eurogamer reported that "Injustice: Gods Among Us" launched for PlayStation 4 in 2013. At the time, Microsoft stated that it is unlikely that the title would release on Xbox One. Now, the Xbox One backwards compatibility program allows Microsoft fans to enjoy the fighting game.

MSPowerUser stated that "Injustice: Gods Among Us" comes from the makers of "Mortal Kombat." The fighting game showcases several characters from the DC Universe like Batman, Doomsday, Superman and more.

The game involves players beating each other with physical attacks, weapons and superpowers. Even portions of the arena can be destroyed by certain attacks. "Injustice: Gods Among Us" also includes a story mode.

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" became a huge success, eventually spawning the disc-only Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" features all of the downloadable content of the game and is also completely compatibility with the Xbox One backward program.

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" currently sells for $19.99 in the Xbox Store. The Ultimate Edition disc currently costs $16. Players who already own the Xbox 360 no longer has to buy the physical copy again. The same disc can be used on the Xbox One. 'Haunted House' Reboot for Xbox One and Xbox 360

The "Haunted House" reboot by Atari, which launched in 2010, was also added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility library. The game requires players to explore a scary mansion with only a disembodied pair of eyes. The game involves collecting keys and trying to stay away from monsters, among others.

The original "Haunted House" launched on the Atari 2600, while the reboot became available on PC, WiiWare and Xbox Live Arcade. More updates and details on both games and the Xbox One backward compatibility program are expected soon.
