The crossover of "The Flash", "Arrow", "Supergirl" and DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" has revealed the consequences of Barry Allen traveling back in time which caused The Dominators to invade Earth once again in the present time. In "The Flash" season 3 episode 9 the consequences of the Barry's "Flashpoint" will still be a major ordeal in following episodes for the rest of the season.
Caitlyn Snow obtaining her Killer Frost's ice powers, Cisco Ramon's brother died, John Diggle of has a son instead of a daughter, the newspaper from the future was no longer written by Iris West were some of the changes the "Flashpoint" has made. Entertainment Weekly reports, Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer of "The Flash" season 3 episode 9 confirmed that there will be "further complications" and new threats made by Alchemy that "The Flash" and his team has to face.
"There's a fair amount of discussion about Flashpoint, given the fact that essentially the crossover outed Flashpoint to the Arrow characters who weren't Felicity," said Marc Guggenheim when he revealed some changes that will happen in Arrow's winter finale.
"And they deal with - I think in some humorous ways, actually - some of the ramifications. For example, I think Curtis is concerned that maybe he was straight originally, as one example," he continued as "The Flash" season 3 episode 9 producer Kreisberg has no further comments.
Andrew Kreisberg said that the message from future Barry will not only relate to the "Flashpoint" but will also be the cause of something else in the "The Flash" season 3 episode 9. The message was discovered by Firestorm, Dr. Martin Stein and Jefferson Jackson in a secret room on the Waiverider in an episode of "Legends of Tomorrow".
"The Flash" season 3 episode 9, will also reveal a new threat from "something they have never faced before". "The Flash" and the team from Star Laboratories will be back stronger than ever on December 6, Tuesday on CW.
