With the announcement that there will be a "Young Justice" season 3, the drum up to the release of "Justice League Action" has been somehow muted. The new animated series, which has been compared to "Teen Titans Go" based from the first previews, is the latest DC animated adaptation to hit the small screen as the live action counterparts struggle against the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the box office.
When "Justice League Action" was first announced early this year via Variety, prospects of a "Young Justice" season 3 was still bleak. But now, it looks like "Justice League Action" and "Young Justice" season 3 will be connected with each other despite possibly airing in different platforms. Just how connected the two shows will be is up for debate until "Young Justice" season 3 airs next year.
In other "Justice League Action" news, according to the latest teaser of the new show on Movie Pilot teases the participation of newer heroes in the animated universe. Zatana and The Flash will be joining the League so could this possibly mean that it will serve as the prequel to "Young Justice" season 3? We will have to wait and see.

"Young Justice" season 3, on the other hand, is already in development but it is still not sure what network it will air.
