New footage was revealed for the upcoming "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" during the Game Awards 2016. Once again, it boasts the gorgeous world of Hyrule thet the main character, Link would be able to explore. Two new trailers were actually released and the other one focuses on the gameplay of the title.
A lot of fans were hyped up when "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was first unveiled during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Nintendo still continues to excite the fans with two new promotional clips that were shown during Game Awards 2016. The first one is titled "Life in Ruins" and it teases some elements that will be involved in the storyline of the latest installment.
The first trailer from "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" showcases the huge world of Hyrule. Moreover, some of Link's opponents were also shown within the trailer and it can also be seen that the struggles that players will encounter will not be easy. In addition, there are times when Zelda is actually being teased within the video, but her face is not being shown.
Meanwhile the second promotional clip of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" highlights the gameplay. It can be seen that Link battles his way through his opponents, and it also hints on how the equipment system of the game will also work. Aside from the main character utilizing weapons to eliminate enemies, Link can also use magic to help him in battle.
Previously Nintendo has also released the "Legend of Zelda" 30th Anniversary Amiibo toys and they will actually be compatible for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." There are four toys that will have a different purpose for the game and they are 8-bit Link, Ocarina of Time Link, Toon Link, and Wind Waker Zelda. 8-bit Link will be able to randomly give players some barrels while Ocarina of Time Link can give players a random number of meats. Toon Link is capable of rewarding players with fish while Wind Waker Zelda will provide plants.
There is no definite release date yet for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," but it will surely arrive in 2017. However, there are rumors that it will launch alongside Nintendo Switch which is on March 2017. In addition, the upcoming title will be playable for Wii U as well.
