"The Blacklist" Season 4 is currently in its midseason break, keeping fans hanging on what is in store for the rest of the season. As the show returns on January 5 next year, three more episodes will complete the 12-episode set of "The Blacklist" Season 4.
Samar is the Spy?
When "The Blacklist" Season 4 returns, the mole spying on Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader) may finally be revealed. Some reports have stated that Samar (Mozhan Marno) could actually be the mole. When Harold (Henry Lennix) said that this puts the entire country in danger, four faces were focused on screen.
The faces included Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), Liz, Aram (Amir Arison), and Samar. Of the four, Samar was the last to be seen. "The Blacklist" Season 4 might then dig deeper in Samar's past, as the show has only revealed that she is Iranian and entered Mossad after the government killed her parents. It is still unknown though if she is involved with any terrorist groups.
Bad News for Characters
A GIF posted on the Twitter account of The Blacklist hints that something might have happened to Red in "The Blacklist" Season 4. The post was then captioned "If we weren't worried, we are now." With Red's character being always on top of his game, this may be his first slip up that could actually be a fatal one.
There was also an image of Ms. Kate Kaplan (Susan Blommaert), making fans eager to know what happens to her in "The Blacklist" Season 4. When she helped Liz betray Red, she was almost killed. Fans are anxious to see if her character will be coming back.
"The Blacklist" Novel
According to a report, Steve Piziks had published the first novel for "The Blacklist" back in November 29. It was then titled "The Blacklist - The Beekeeper No. 159." The novel saw Red bring Liz a new Blacklister: The Bodysnatcher.
It is an unnamed and unknown entity that has mastered the art of kidnapping. While Red and the team intercepts the Bodysnatcher, a much more sinister target has been revealed. "The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 9 will return on January 5 next year.
