Summer Slam may be over, but there's still plenty to look forward to in the world of wrasslin'. 2K Games has offered up fans the complete list of wrestlers that will feature in WWE 2K14. You have classic wrestlers of the old school like Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, and the Macho Man Randy Savage alongside new school grapplers like Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk. Admittedly, a few names caught me off guard (Goldberg? He was only in the WWE for one year, ten years ago), but the more the merrier.

Explaining some of the names is WWE 2K14's single player campaign, "The 30 Years of WrestleMania" a blast of nostalgia that recreates nearly three decades of WWE history, including more than 45 matches, classic WWE footage and many legendary characters. The mode promises to be similar to WWE 13's "Attitude Era Mode."
Like in WWE '13, matches have primary objectives, required to beat the game, and bonus historical objectives, which result in recreated WrestleMania moments. Sometimes the player must follow a guided sequence of inputs, rather than freely control the character.
In 45 primary matches, the player competes through storylines of various lengths, switching predetermined characters as they are completed. Each chapter has its own title and focus; "Hulkamania Runs Wild" focuses on the Hulkster and early WrestleManias, while "The New Generation" showcases the rise of mid-90's superstars like Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Shawn Michaels.
This will be 2K's first go around with a WWE title since the company snagged the license when THQ went belly up earlier this year. The licensing deal is set to last for five years, so expect more from the company.
WWE 2K14 hits North America on October 29th, and internationally on November 1st, 2013, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
