Niantic has released the new nearby tracker of "Pokemon Go" to the rest of the United States and expanding through Europe. The latest "Pokemon Go" tracker was released later last month in the west coast in the United States, Canada and Australia as a test to further improve the tracking system of the game
"We will be expanding the Nearby Pokémon feature to the rest of the continental United States and large parts of Europe," said Niantic in their official blog. "We will continue to review the feedback submitted on our official social media accounts and in other channels and make changes if necessary," continued the "Pokemon Go" team.
The new nearby tracker that was released according to WWG allows users to locate nearby Pokemon using the Pokestops in "Pokemon Go". The image of the Pokemon will appear along with the nearest Pokestop it is located where players can tap on the Pokemon's image to enlarge the image of the PokeStop on the map.
However, the new nearby tracker has been a disappointed to "Pokemon Go" players living in the rural areas who can't fully use the tracker. The players from the rural areas have to drive to the nearest city just to find the Pokemon and the Pokestop displayed on the tracker.
There are only limited Pokestops and spawns of Pokemon in the "Pokemon Go" for the players in the rural areas than the ones living in the city areas. The rural players are frustrated that the tracker does not give a lot of details and instructions on how to catch the Pokemon displayed.
The "Pokemon Go" developer, Niantic has no comment to the issue yet and this might not be the final tracker to be released all over the world since they are still collecting feedbacks from the players. "Pokemon Go" players can give out their feedback through Pokemon Go and Niantic's official social media accounts.
