Farming Simulator 2013 doesn't sound like the most exciting game in the world, but it caught enough heat when first announced for the PC back in September, so much so that developer Giants Software decided that it's headed for consoles PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, due out later this week.
"As big as the original environment of Farming Simulator on PC, this new playground exclusive to the console version doubles the world of the game. Inspired by typical American farms, this big new land offers a real new scenery, with new places, new opportunities of development for your farm, and even bigger fields!" described a a press release.
As if the world of farming couldn't get anymore exciting (heavy sarcasm), the console ports are getting exclusive content in the way of new vehicles and farming equipment, like the Case IH, Lizard, Ursus, Kramer, and a bunch of other things I couldn't recognize the difference between at a Cornhuskers halftime show.
As tends to happen, trophies / achievements leaked out for the game, and wouldn't you know it? Most of 'em revolve around raising crops. The list was compiled by PS3 trophies. There's not too many, but as middle America tells us, then the joy of farming isn't found in being given rewards, it's found in tilling the soil and feeding the virtual citizens of Los Santos, Vekta, or New Marais.
The trophies / achievements are as follows:
- Enough for 12.5 Horses - Found fifty horseshoes
- Financial Folly - Went bankrupt
- Fruits of Your Labor - Threshed ten hectares
- Harvest King - Threshed one hundred hectares
- Longplayer - Played for ten hours
- Lucky Hand - Found twenty-five horseshoes
