Bioware is at it yet again revealing new information for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" online, months before the game's official release. This time, game developers have gone deep into the game's character and how it relates to the game's predecessor.
New Information Regarding 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Protagonist
Bioware confirms that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has a number of worlds for players to discover and the game developers aim is go for a quality over quantity kind of approach. Bioware also confirms that players can explore other planets in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" even when the main quest has been completed.
Meanwhile, Bioware creative director, Mac Walters confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" main protagonist, Ryder will be much of a blank slate when compared to the "Mass Effect" trilogy's Commander Shepard. Bioware also reveals that not all races will be making a comeback in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and will not be featured in the upcoming game titles of the saga.
In previous reports, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" other known species that will be featured in the game is the Asari named PeeBee. PeeBee was described by Mac Walters as an adventurous, out-going personality.
Bioware tends in creating the new characters for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to be new and fresh even with a few similarities to its game predecessor. However, Bioware ensures to make an effort to create a companion in a different mold and style for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
It was also reported that the class system from previous games will not be featured in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and instead, is replaced by skill tree that allows players to acquire multiple skills through the progression of the game. "Mass Effect: Andromeda also offers a wide array of customization to the player's characters and the protagonist's sister in creating an avatar in the game.
