The CW has released a preview for the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3, Episode 9 called "The Present." In this episode, Barry Allen gets tormented by Dr. Alchemy's voice.
Dr. Alchemy, who viewers learned from Episode 7 is actually Julian Albert, returns to Earth 1 in the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3. He threatens to harm those close to Barry Allen. Dr. Alchemy tells Barry in the promo that he has an edge over the speedster, because he knows his weakness and his fears. The villain tells Barry that he knows him better than Barry does himself.
As Dr. Alchemy's voice play in the background, viewers see a glimpse of Barry and Iris kiss and of Cisco and Caitlin at his home. The trailer for the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3 shows Barry Allen celebrating the Christmas holidays with his family and friends amid the threat of Savitar and Dr. Alchemy.
Of course, despite the joyous celebration Barry Allen is restless. He cannot enjoy the holidays or focus on his relationship with Iris knowing that Dr. Alchemy and Savitar are still on the loose.
This is when he decides to travel to Earth 3 to seek the help of Jay Garrick (not Hunter Zolomon). The preview for the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3 shows Barry with Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) as they attempt to defeat Savitar and Dr. Alchemy.
One scene in the trailer shows Barry apprehend Dr. Alchemy. Will he manage to remove the villain's mask and see Julian Albert underneath the mask? Will Barry and Jay be able to defeat Savitar and his servant Dr. Alchemy in the midseason final of "The Flash" Season 3? Fans will have to find out when Episode 9, "The Present," airs on Dec. 6.
