When the movie "Deadpool" came out, it created quite a stir from fans and critics alike. Immediately after, news broke out that "Deadpool 2" is happening.
After news that the previous director, Tim Miller, stepped down for the sequel, fans were unsettled as to whether it will push through or not. However, recently, Fox officially announced that David Leitch will replace Tim Miller in "Deadpool 2" director's seat. Fans are ecstatic with this news, and all that they could hope for now is for Leitch, and Ryan Reynolds, (Wade Wilson) will get along well.
Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role as Wade Wilson in "Deadpool 2". There are also reports that other Marvel characters will be appearing in the sequel. Cable is one of the favorite characters that will appear because of his few known attributes - flat top, a bionic arm, and the ability to time travel. Actors who can play the role include Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, Stephen Lang, Jon Hamm, and even the lovely Kiera Knightly.
It is also safe to assume that Vanessa, played by Morena Baccarin, will make another appearance in "Deadpool 2" seeing as she is a driving force for Wade. There are also reports that screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are considering making her character more related to her comic book counterpart - who is a mutant named Copycat.
On the other side of the coin, talks about "Logan" or Wolverine having a special appearance in "Deadpool 2" are also spreading. In an interview with Yahoo, Hugh Jackman actor said that he never thought about him appearing in the sequel of "Deadpool" but the idea that he and Ryan Reynolds will be working together has always been appealing to him.
The movie "Deadpool 2" is still in its very early stage, but speculation has it that it will be released either on Nov. 2, 2018 or Feb. 14, 2019.
