As part of Ubisoft's 30th anniversary celebration, the developer and publisher is again giving away a free game, which will be the final game anniversary giveaway. Fans would be stoked to know that the free game is "Assassin's Creed 3."
In "Assassin's Creed 3," the player acts as the Native American assassin who's going through the American Revolution, which is the most dreadful war in history. The game is the biggest franchise of Ubisoft ever and since it's the last and final free game anniversary giveaway, it will remind everyone of the saying, ‘save the best for last.'
"And the last #Ubi30 free game on PC is... Assassin's Creed III! Available from December 7 on Uplay PC," Ubisoft Club posted on Twitter.
Apart from "Assassin's Creed 3," Ubisoft has given free games for its 30th anniversary such as "Splinter Cell," "Beyond Good and Evil," "Prince of Persia: Sand of Time," "Rayman Origins," "The Crew," and "Far Cry." Ubisoft said that "Assassin's Creed 3" allows the audience to experience the ancient war with assassins who attempt to protect the freedom and the Templars.
"Revealed at E3 2006, Assassin's Creed puts the audience in the middle of an ancient war between two age-old factions: the Assassins, who fight to protect freedom and the Templars, who aspire to impose a New World Order," Ubisoft explained.
The publisher also added that "Assassin's Creed 3" players get to encounter historical heroes and participates in events and creates their own fate, which the creative team has added new gameplay and new schemes of interaction for a deeper and more captivating gaming experience.
According to PC Gamer, "Assassin's Creed 3" may not be the best game but it is pretty good as it scored the game a solid 72 in its 2012 review. "Assassin's Creed 3" free PC version begins Dec. 7 and it will last for a month, reports Eurogamer. Additionally, "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" is still available now for free.
