Last month, gamers saw the arrival of "Dishonored 2" on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC to positive reviews, and since then, players have been enjoying the game through the eyes of both Emily and Corvo. The new Patch 1.3 released on Steam today and it includes performance improvements and bug fixes.
The report comes via PC Gamer, which says that Patch 1.3, released on Steam yesterday, features "general performance and optimization improvements" in "Dishonored 2" on PC. Bethesda encourages PC gamers to upgrade to Nvidia's 375.95 driver because they've discovered issues with drivers 375.70 and 375.86 that affects perforamnce of "Dishonored 2."
Patch 1.3 released on Steam for "Dishonored 2" has a new feature that enables gamers to turn off Camera Motion Blur. It also features bug fixes that cause some textures to go missing when Texture Quality is set above Medium. Other bug fixes include one where V-Sync settings don't match the monitor refresh rate when it's set to higher than 60hz.
The new Patch 1.3 released on Steam for "Dishonored 2" also addressed bugs for the lighting on some NPCs, adjustted Shadow Quality settings,a nd reduced performance impact of transparent surfaces and visual effects.
The "Dishonored 2" Patch 1.3 released on Steam is currently on beta, and gamers can opt to get it now or later. Gamespot recommends right-clicking on the game in the Steam library, heading over to Properties and select BetaPatch from the Betas drop-down menu. Following this, close the pop-up window and wait for the download to begin.
