The world was shocked when Heath Ledger was found dead from an overdose back in 2008, but it looks like Michelle Williams continues to mourn the death of her former love. The "Manchester by the Sea" star has just admitted that she is still upset that her daughter Matilda is growing without her father.
Michelle Williams Unhappy About Raising Daughter Matilda Without Heath Ledger?
Although Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger had already broken up at the time of the actor's death, the two continued to raise their daughter together. Now it looks like the "Manchester by the Sea" star is still upset that Matilda is growing up without her dad.
In an interview with Porter magazine (via Fox News), Michelle Williams stated that she is "a believer in not fighting circumstances" but still has a hard time accepting Heath Ledger's death. The "Manchester by the Sea" actress said that the idea of her daughter "not having a dad" is something that "won't ever be right."
Nevertheless, it looks like Michelle Williams has persevered through being a single mom and managing her career. The Golden Globe winner (for "My Week with Marilyn") continues to wow critics with her performances in "Manchester by the Sea" and "Certain Women". In addition to that, she is set to appear alongside another Australian hottie who made a name for himself just like Heath Ledger.
