A sneak peak clip of Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe" season 4 episode 10 was already released giving hints to what fans should expect on December 1 for the network's holiday lineup. The back-to-back episodes for "Gem Harvest" were aired on November 17 and finished 14th on TV ratings with only more than a million of viewers.
The 10th episode of "Steven Universe," entitled "Three Gems and a Baby" shows a blizzard coming into the Beach City, causing Greg to sleep at the temple. The sneak peak preview, which runs for 60 seconds, has been described to be another tale of "origin" about Greg, the gems and Steven. On the clip, Steven was shown as a baby with Greg wanting to tell him a "baby Steven" story. But instead of the usual story-telling style, Steven preferred that Greg sing his narratives.
With blizzard covering the Beach City, Steven is forced to stay indoors. The gems look like they plan on paying him a visit and bringing him some presents for the holiday. And because "Three Gems and a Baby" is about Steven, being the baby, the gems have not fully adjusted to Rose Quartz's departure. The 10th episode sneak peak also shows the struggles of Greg being a single father.
Apart from the sneak peak clip, Cartoon Network also released a video clip designed to promote its special episodes for winter holiday. The promotional clip included scenes for shows "Steven Universe" and "We Bare Bears." The clip gives more teasers on what to expect from Greg.
"Steven Universe" is a creation of Rebecca Sugar and premiered in 2013. It received well by viewers resulting in the show's renewal for 5th season. However, midway to its fourth season, the show stopped airing episodes without giving reasons to viewers. Fans have been craving for "Steven Universe" and when two episodes were finally aired on November 17, the expected viewership was a tad disappointing.
