Samsung continues to experience the fallout from the disaster that is Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The South Korean tech giant has already issued recalls of the phablet units but consumers are still looking for answers. Samsung will give that sometime in December.
According to Korea Herald, sources just revealed that Samsung will be announcing the results of its investigation on what caused Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to explode. The company started the probe shortly after the massive recall of units in September. Samsung carried out another investigation on Nov 11.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7's battery is strongly believed to be the cause of the explosion. At the time of the recall, the company said that the first batch had faulty batteries and that having a replacement would be the solution. But even after that, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 continued to catch fire that Samsung had to perform a second recall and ultimately halt the production of the tablets.
Samsung also said that the blame should be on its battery supplier. However, other factors should not be ruled out either. But consumers who have been looking for answers will soon find out what's behind the faulty Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery. The results of the investigation should affect the sales of the future Galaxy series of gadgets. There should already be an end to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's story before the company releases Galaxy S8 series and a new Galaxy Note 8.
Once Samsung fixes the issue and closes the chapter on the disastrous Samsung Galaxy Note 7, it is believed that the company will sell refurbished units. As previously reported by GamenGuide, these refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units could be sold at a much cheaper price. It's either the consumers will learn to trust the lineup or just go for the next Note device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which is confirmed to launch in 2017. Stay tuned for the updates here on GamenGuide.
