HPE 3PAR Flash Now Price, News & Update: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Announces All-Flash For Public Cloud At An Incredibly Low Price

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) just announced a new scheme to address the demand for flexible storage consumption models. The same system also assures the right level of resiliency, accelerates all-flash data center adoption and assists customers to make way for a hybrid IT infrastructure through the HPE 3PAR Flash Now initiatives.

Fresh out of the box, the HPE 3PAR Flash Now initiatives let customers acquire all-flash technology on-premises starting at $0.03 per usable Gigabyte per month. Surprisingly, its cost is merely a fraction of the current standard pricing for public cloud solutions.

HPE 3PAR Flash Now Initiative Benefits

According to the HPE website, the HPE 3PAR Flash Now initiatives will hasten service delivery by taking advantage of automated data migration tools without a cost, or opt for tailored migration services. Furthermore, control over data locality is maintained. Long-term lock-in won't be a problem anymore and this would eliminate the costs and hassle of reclaiming data from the cloud.

The Significance of Flash in HPE 3PAR Flash Now

Flash has been around roughly for 35 years, and had greatly contributed to the industry since its inception. Over the years, Flash went on to become the top storage choice for certain workloads and applications. With HPE 3PAR Flash Now, HP has found a way to bridge flash adoption and the cloud.

Apart from the HPE 3PAR Flash Now initiative, the company also announced an update to the StoreFabric 32Gb (Gen 6) Fibre Channel portfolio for faster networking. HPE has entered a partnership with Spectra Logic for improved data protection, confirms Spectra Logic

An important part of the HPE 3PAR Flash Now initiative, this portfolio features HPE Smart SAN technology for fully automated orchestration directly from HPE 3PAR StoreServe flash storage arrays. In effect, provisioning time is reduced by 90 percent.

HPE 3PAR Flash Now and HPE StoreFabric 32Gb (Gen 6) Fibre Channel portfolio are already available. HPE is in a partnership with Spectra Logic through a new reseller relationship. Both companies believe that this relationship will help lower the costs of long-term storage to as little as $0.01 per GB.
