For those of you who like your decorative plastics (don't worry, I do too), Warner Bros. Montreal recently announced that Batman: Arkham Origins is getting a Collector's Edition all its own. One for the UK crowd, and another for North America, details for which are coming next week.
However, we do have information for the UK edition. It arrives October 25th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will retail for £79.99. To detail the picture above, it includes the following "extensive" bonus content:

* 80-page, full-color hardcover artbook
* Assassin's Intel Dossier, including files on the eight assassins, as well as Black Mask's contract
* 1st Appearance Batman Skin DLC
* Deathstroke Challenge Pack DLC - Usable throughout all the Arkham Origins Challenge maps and also includes two bonus challenge maps and two bonus Deathstroke Skins
* Exclusive 3D Metal Pack
* The PS3 edition will also include the Knightfall pack as an exclusive piece of content
The Batman: Arkham Origins Collector's Edition will be available for pre-order in the UK exclusively at Amazon UK.
Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City, and stars a younger, not as experienced Batman we've seen in pastArkham games, and has the criminal Black Mask offering a boatload of cash to whoever can kill the caped crusader. A number of hired killers are on the hunt, though not all have been revealed just yet. Batman is armed with more than just his grapnel gun and batarangs.
He's actually carrying a few new toys thrown in for good measure, all to help him pummel thugs throughout a Gotham city that's almost double the size of the one seen in Arkham City. Classic villains from Batman's lengthy rouges gallery are set to appear, like Penguin, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Scarecrow, Bane, Mad Hatter, and the Joker. A few other villains will also be appear to make their video game debut, such as the recently announced Copperhead and Anarky. More will no doubt follow. A multiplayer mode featuring the boy wonder was also recently introduced, developed by Splash Games.
Batman: Arkham Origins launches Oct. 25 on Windows PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. A Vita prequel, Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate, is also in development by Armature Studio, set to release the same day.
