"Street Fighter 5" has recently revealed the last character for the season 1 roster- Urien. But now, rumors are rife that the long standing game series of Capcom will add more characters for the Season 2 downloadable content (DLC).
Previously, "Street Fight 5" has caused quite a confusion to fans when a video featuring Akuma was released despite reports that he may not be appearing at all in "Street Fighter 5" Season 2. The Japanese video producer of Capcom, Yoshinori Ono, later explained that the video that was recently released was not to introduce Akuma but rather, to show the fans what's in store for them in Sony's upcoming event.
It is speculated that Oro could be one of the players in "Street Fighter 5" season 2 DLC's roster. Oro is a popular character who only appeared in "Street Fighter 3." Previously, Oro considers Ryu deserving to learn his secret martial arts technique. Since Ryu has already defeated Satsui No Hado in "Street Fighter 5" Story Mode, it is possible that Ryu will soon meet the martial arts master.
Aside from Oro, there are other characters believed to likely be part of "Street Fighter 5" season 2 DLC: Sodom, Abel, Sagat, Q and Rose, who are all part of the roster in the previous installments. Now, a new report suggests that Capcom might just introduce a new character who will be part of the new DLC. The character could be named Eisbahn, which means "ice rink" in German.
Capcom by far hasn't confirmed the reports, though. But it is believed that "Street Fighter 5" Season 2 DLC will be out sometime in 2017. Meanwhile, game developer Capcom declared that they will be supporting the game for the coming years. "It's not just a 1-2 year thing. We're looking pretty far ahead ... We've planned out as far as 2020 or so." With that being said, it seems that Capcom is cooking up a lot more for the game enthusiasts.
