"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is the latest installment of the survival-horror video game series. It is set to be released on Jan. 26,2017 in Japan and Jan. 24, 2017, to the rest of the world. The game is expected to be a great comeback for the series, which has lost its true horror touch in previous releases.
The game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is a single player mode, in a first-person perspective. The main character, Ethan, is looking for his missing wife and his wandering brought him to the mysterious Bakers mansion. Upon his entry to the mansion, Ethan must use different ranges of weapons from pistols to shotguns to flamethrowers to survive the attacks of the monsters.
Unlike the previous "Resident Evil" game, which focuses on bioterrorism attacks, the "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is more shifted to the original survival-horror theme which made the first-ever "Resident Evil" franchise famous worldwide. Last October, a 10-part video series was released by Capcom entitled "The World of Resident 7" showing clips of the game[lay and characters. A couple of the nightmarish entities shown are the "Shadow", an enemy that seems to be immune to bullets and the scary elderly woman that is singing the "Aunt Rhody".
According to SteamPowered, the minimum system requirement for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 with 64-BIT. The processor should at least be Intel Core i5-4460 with 2.70 GHz or AMD FX-6300 and a 8 GB RAM. A DirectSound compatible soundcard that supports DirectX 9.0c or higher is needed. The minimum graphics is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x with 2GB Video RAM but a 4GB VRAM is much recommended.
It is also important to note that since the game is still ongoing improvements, "all PC requirements are subject to change". This version has an RE Engine and includes VR compatible tools.
