Fans who have been hoping to see Jaimie Alexander reprised her role as Lady Sif in "Thor: Ragnarok" might be in for a major disappointment. The character may have been written out of the sequel due to Alexander's commitment to her NBC series "Blindspot" Season 2.
There have already been speculations that Sif will no longer be a part of "Thor: Ragnarok" and is being replaced by Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. But is it possible that Jaimie Alexander couldn't commit to the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick due to her busy schedule working on "Blindspot" Season 2?
Jaimie Alexander Not Returning In 'Thor: Ragnarok'? Sif Left Out Due To 'Blindspot' Season 2 Scheduling Conflict?
Who didn't love Jaimie Alexander as Sif in the first two "Thor" movies? The character certainly stood out as one of the best warriors in MCU. Unfortunately, Sif might not be back in "Thor: Ragnarok" because Alexander has been so busy working on "Blindspot" Season 2.
That doesn't mean that "Thor: Ragnarok" will be missing a strong woman who could stand up to Chris Hemsworth's Odinson. Although Jaimie Alexander's Sif will not be in the sequel, the film is still set to introduce Valkyrie as both an ally and possible love interest for Thor. This could mean that Alexander is free to focus on "Blindspot" Season 2, which is set to be renewed for more seasons.
