"The Winds of Winter" has some important updates according to renowned creator George R.R. Martin. Will fans receive some bad news from the author? Is it going to be Jon Snow's death?
'The Winds Of Winter' Update
"The Winds of Winter" progress has been revealed by George R.R. Martins recently. According to Comic Book, the "Game of Thrones" creator may deliver some bad news to fans, who are eagerly looking forward to the book. It appears that it will be released further after "Game of Thrones" season 7 airs back on HBO.
Martin recently posted an update on "Not a Blog" on Tuesday as he heads out to the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The post confirmed the dreaded news that some fans are already expecting. While it wasn't directly said, "The Winds of Winter" delayed released was beautifully implied.
"This is my last scheduled event for 2016," he said of his busy schedule. "My appearance schedule for 2017 is very limited and will remain so until WINDS is completed. So if you want to meet me or get a book signed, this will be the last chance for a good few months," he finished off.
With this statement, one can conclude that Martin has a long way to go to finish "The Winds of Winter." He mentioned that he has a few more months to fully accomplish the book. This means the book may be released long after the "Game of Thrones" season 7 returns to air.
Jon Snow Killed Off In 'The Winds Of Winter'
Meanwhile, there are reports claiming that Jon Snow will be killed off in "The Winds of Winter" book. If Snow's should die and HBO demonstrated it first, this could be a huge spoiler for many fans.
In a previous interview with Martin, he admitted that all characters will eventually be killed off. When "Game of Thrones" returns to air summer of next year, you should watch out then for major characters. He previously admitted that "The Winds of Winter" has undergone major changes that could further delay the book release.
