Fans of "FIFA 17" were ecstatic to learn that EA Sports announced a free play for PlayStatin 4 and Xbox One last weekend. It officially started last Thursday, Nov 24 1 PM ET. However, because of the Black Friday madness, many gamers may not be able to take advantage of the free play.
It would have been a wonderful time for avid "FIFA 17" players as the news iteration features new gameplay elements and game presentations and visuals. The free play was not open via EA access on Xbox One. All other modes were playable except for a limited access to The Journey mode.
"FIFA 17" free play officially ended last Sunday, Nov 27 2:59 AM ET. There has been no news whether EA Sports extended free play access. Those who decided to purchase the game after the trial period their progress is reported to be carried over. "FIFA 17" free play for Xbox One was only limited to 10 hours.
Players of "FIFA 17" for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have an all-new way to compete - the FUT Champions. Every week, players will have the chance to qualify for the weekend league and even compete for the in-game rewards. If players want more and bigger rewards, they can go for the monthly leader boards as they become consistent in showing their skills.
"FIFA 17" also features an all new Squad Building Challenges where players can complete challenges and earn more one of kind in-game rewards. There are three skills to choose from when playing the SBC: Basic, Advanced and League. Players are encouraged to check the Squad Building Challenge as it is updated often throughout the season.
"FIFA 17" also features new FUT champions and legends like Jamie Carragher, Rio Ferdinand, Luis Hernández, Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit, Alessandro Del Piero, Carles Puyol, Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Juan Sebastián Verón. However, they are exclusively coming only to Xbox One and Xbox 360.
